This wiki was created as a place for all the resources and lessons, web 2.0 tools, and details on 21st century skills collected during my year with the ARRA grant. I was bookmarking everything I thought would be helpful in the future. Now, I find there are just too many bookmarks, printed copies, saved files. How can I share these resources with our teachers participating in the new grant? Wikispaces (a really Cool Tool) provides the needed home for my collection of resources and readings, blogs, and tools.
If you are reading further, I should explain my thinking in creating the pages on the right. Obviously, I believe that students today are far different than any of the students I've taught in the past. These children turn the power on in the morning the same way they turn on the lights. Powering down when they enter the school building is no longer acceptable. But, money prohibits a technology transformation. Yet, with or without the digital tools, we can and should be adapting our teaching methods. This wiki is an accumulation of 21st century teaching resource, standards and tools.
